The DADs parenting education program offers a unique curriculum of workshops, consultation, classes and special events that promote the formation of fathering skills in the community.
The DADs staff works closely with other community organizations to broaden public awareness of the importance of fathers in raising healthy children. Fathers have the opportunity to: learn about child development; learn about a father's legal rights and responsibilities; meet with other fathers about fathering issues; receive support and counseling; and, obtain referral to other community resources.
DADs offers periodic enrichment classes in the community; it also offers classes for young men involved in the justice system. All services are free.
