A service of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, Marriage for Keeps reaches out to families, helping to ensure they have resources to form and maintain healthy relationships.

Marriage for Keeps provides people with an opportunity to strengthen marriages and families, give couples the life skills to gain more control over their future and create healthier relationships that lead to happier children and homes. The program is designed for families with low to middle incomes. Relatonship building activities are centered on communication, trust, dealing with conflict, managing stress and learning to have fun as a family.

The classes are delivered in both English and Spanish once a week over an eight week period with additional classes and services offered for one year. The evening classes and dinner are available at no charge in a comfortable family room setting. Many couples consider the evenings a great “date night”. Eligible participants are married couples, ages 18 and older, with or without children. Classes are held at St. Benedict’s Early Education Center at 220 South 9th Street, Kansas City, KS 66101 or at various locations around the community by special request.
