Through the generous support of community partners, Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is able to reach out and touch the lives of more than 85,000 individuals annually. The programs and services span the cycle of life - from pregnancy counseling and adoption through the compassionate care of those living out their last days. Emergency Assistance centers provide food for the hungry and shelter for the homeless. Families in crisis receive counseling, single mothers and fathers receive support and mentoring and the very young receive quality, early education experiences.
Committed volunteers share their gifts of time and talent, delivering more than 97,300 hours of service annually. Their helping hands stock the food pantries, answer phones, stuff envelopes, rock babies, sort clothing and reach out in friendship to the frail, sick and elderly.
Schools and organizations interested in coordinating food drives may contact the Director of Volunteers, Mary Kay Drees at 913.433.2080.
Please consider helping those in need by making a donation or volunteering your time to Catholic Charities.
