This year, a small group of young professionals in the Kansas City area met at a social gathering to
share the mission and values of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas. By extending invitations to
friends and other young professionals, this group has evolved in just a few months to more
than 30 members…and counting!

Our group's purpose is to have fun while sharing our energy and excitement with Catholic Charities’
existing and future endeavors. We believe that we all have something in ourselves to give to those
in need. The Junior Patrons are contributing in the following ways.

• Giving our time to one of Catholic Charities' volunteer opportunities.
• Giving our talent as young professionals to the organization.
• Giving our treasure to support the Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas.

We believe these three, simple means will enhance the mission and core values of Catholic Charities,
as well as enhance our own lives as young philanthropists. And we are having fun doing it!
