Position: New Roots Market Assistant

Description:
Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is looking for a part time
driver/assistant for New Roots for Refugees, a program helping refugee women start their own small businesses growing and selling organic vegetables.
This position will drive a car, truck or small bus to pick up refugees and produce, help set up market stalls, assist refugee growers with selling produce when the market is open and return unsold roduce to the farm at the end of the day. Includes early mornings. Position also includes coordinating harvesting at the farm.
20-30 hours / week, $10 per hour
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license.
