On Tuesday, Jan. 12, Haiti was struck by a desvestating earthquake that has destroyed hospitals and schools and taken the lives of thousands. The exact number is unknown at this time. The Haitians are in need of help from people around the world to recooperate from this horrific disaster.
Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas' mission is to help those in need, and today this includes the victims in Haiti. Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and their loved ones.
